We feel incredibly fortunate to own and reside in a traditional Greek house, which has allowed us to fully immerse ourselves in the authentic way of life on this beautiful island. Now, we have made the decision to share this incredible experience with you by offering our house for rent, giving you the opportunity to have a genuine Greek holiday. Beautiful Home Rental In Northern Part of Zakynthos
The history of this house begins in the early 1900s. In the past it was used as a residence and village grocery store. At the time the village was very populated by breeders and farmers and was an important center in the northern part of the island. Over time the village became depopulated, the school closed and the shop in the house met the same fate. Subsequently the house remained in private use until it came to us. We carried out a complete renovation maintaining the typical structure. You can notice the anti-seismic system surrounding the house; in fact this house is one of the few left standing after the 1953 earthquake which demolished almost all the buildings on the island.
